Who: Galavate, a software company founded in 2026 by Gregory Chan, a software engineer. We build systems for established companies whose operations have outgrown paper, chat threads and spreadsheets.
Where: Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. In person across Sarawak; remote, with site visits, for Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah.
What we build: Custom mobile and web systems built around how a company already works: field capture on phones that works without signal, workflows with checks and approvals, and documents produced in the company's own format. Once the data is centralised, automation of documents, plans and answers.
In production: An 800-person engineering consultancy runs its daily field operations on our system: twenty document types digitised, more than sixty live operations across Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia, apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play, offline first.

How we work

Three steps, in this order. Understand: we work beside your team, with the people who know the process best. Digitalise: the way you already operate becomes one system, on phones and on the web. Then AI: once the data is centralised, documents and plans can be automated, with a person checking anything that gets signed.

Why the company exists

Most established companies already run good processes. The problem is that those processes still depend on paper, spreadsheets and systems that do not talk to each other. Galavate builds the software around how their teams actually work, and measures itself on whether staff use it the next day.
